The Company:Our client, a local leader within the construction industry are recruiting for an experienced administrator to support their sales team. This person will be confident in handling phone and email queries in relation to both pre and aftersales support to internal and external customers. It’s an exciting time for a personable team player to join a reputable, growing business.
Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:
- Respond to customer queries and inquires via telephone and email.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the external sales team.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all data is entered correctly into our systems.
- Liaise with the sales team, manufacturers and customers.
- Prepare customer quotations.
- Process sales orders from point of order to delivery.
- Create customer invoices ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Organise transport for deliveries.
- Perform other administration duties as assigned to support overall team objectives.
About You as the Sales Administrator:
- Previous experience working in a busy sales office.
- Proven experience in administration is essential
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Work well under pressure whilst retaining a calm and positive attitude.
- Pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
